Express the body, expand the mind
Mindfulness is observing and fully engaging in the present moment without evaluation or judgement. As we begin to exercise mindfulness more deliberately, we can observe ourselves, our thoughts, and our patterns from a distance and acknowledge that we have the power to choose our responses.
We start to see ourselves and each other with more compassion and understanding, creating space for personal transformation. Yoga is a profound practice that incorporates mindfulness by strengthening the body and tapping into our present awareness with breath. As we build strength and endurance, we also grow our ability to access a state of calm and focus from moment to moment.
Our lives and our experiences are always in flux, but the more we practice yoga and mindfulness, we learn how to adjust in accordance with our true selves and make authentic choices.
